I love jewelry. I love everything about it - designing it, creating it, even just looking at it. I'm not really sure where this love came from; I'm just going with it.

I experimented with many creative pursuits, but it wasn’t until I strung my first necklace several years ago that I was truly inspired. Soon after, my time was filling up with trips to bead stores, reading everything I could find about jewelry making and creating gifts for friends and family.

I enjoy playing with color — whether it's vibrant or muted, materials — whether they are standard or unusual, and design — whether it's bold or classic.

More than anything, I want you to find a piece you love, wear it often and feel good when you do.

Books: I just finished Stephen King's "Dark Tower" series. I have mixed feelings about some parts of it, but overall could not put it down. Now I'm reading "Stranger in a Strange Land" by Robert A. Heinlein. The pace is a little slow, but I'm hanging in there.

Music: The Killers. I have "Spaceman" playing on a constant loop in my head. And Jason Mraz. I was never really a fan before, but I'm loving "Lucky" and "I'm Yours."

Movies: I haven't been to the movies in ages, but my Netflix account gets quite a workout. I haven't rented anything noteworthy lately, though. Any suggestions?
